One more Monday closer to Christmas! Can't believe December is already in full swing. I celebrated my 30th birthday this past week, and will be celebrating my dad's 60th this Wednesday. My dad is always one of the hardest people to buy for because he has everything. I mentioned this previously but I'm at the point where buying 'just to buy' is not even a thought in my mind anymore. With how much we spend during the holidays, why spend on something you know the person doesn't need or won't love? Which brings us to the next holiday gift guide...for the guys. I start curating for Joe, my dad and my brother way before I do for anyone else because finding the right gifts for them takes time. I actually told Joe he wasn't allowed to read today's post on the blog because many of the items in this guide are items I've bought for him. Depending on what the guy in your life is into, some of my favorite places to shop for the men in my life are Nordstrom (clothes, shoes), L.L. Bean (winter accessories), Amazon (tech gadgets) and Mark & Graham (personalized items). To the right are a few of my favorite gifts for the guys (click on any of the numbers above to shop!).

1. Personalized Valet ($39.00) - Mark and Graham has so many great ways to keep the man in your life organized. Last year, I gifted Joe this watch box. For a guy who's on the go (like Joe who commutes to Manhattan every day), this charger roll up is a great choice too.

4. Swiss Army Knife ($32.00) - Every single person in my family (including the women) has a Swiss Army knife on them at all times. This is a great under $50 gift that will come in handy just about every day.

6. Quilted Bomber ($69.00) - A bomber jacket was at the top of Joe's list this year and I love the subtle quilted pattern and construction of this one. For under $100, it was a no brainer. This also comes in black for guys who like to stick to the basics.

10. Leather Sneakers ($148.00) - These leather sneakers are the perfect in-between shoe for a night out where a dress shoe is unnecessary but a classic sneaker is too casual. I've gotten Joe a few pair of these over the years and they are basically all he wears. This cognac color goes great with jeans, and also comes in navy and black.
