Do you ever find yourself in a habit of shopping at the same place over and over for a period of time?
I will forever be an online shopper (it's in my blood, haha). I find that I often go through phases where I'll constantly look for new arrivals from a brand until something new catches my eye and the cycle starts all over again.
1 / Free People
I discovered Free People my senior year of high school and it was all down hill from my bank account from then on. I often describe it to people as the brand that most closely-aligns with my personal style because of its boho, retro-esque vibe.
On my radar lately are dresses, skirts and layering tops. My satin skirt has been one of my most-worn this season (see it styled in this post); such an effortless piece to pair with a cozy knit and a pair of booties. Also have it in 'praline' which you'll love if you're a neutral girl. Has a side zip with no give, but I would say it runs pretty true to size. If you're in between, I recommend sizing up.
Also loving this lace layering turtleneck, this movable, tie-front midi dress, and this balloon sleeve waffle knit turtleneck.

2 / H&M
I will say that H&M can be hit or miss, and you have to know what to shop for. That being said, the brand's quality has improved tenfold over the past few years.
Each time Fall rolls around I find myself eyeing, buying and loving so many of their sweaters, like this one I'm wearing that retails for only $20! (also see my Fall sweater haul video feat. more picks).
I typically gravitate towards tops when shopping at H&M, but have also found a few super cute dresses + skirts lately, like this leopard wrap (styled here) and this white denim skirt (styled here/similar here)
My biggest qualm with H&M used to be their sizing. Not only was it often inaccurate but also all over the place. As a size 6-8, I'd be wearing a 2 in some pieces, and a 12 in others, which definitely deterred me from shopping there for a while. With the recent size change this past summer, however, everything has seemed to come together really nicely.
H&M is also one of my go-to places for gifts! Lots of easy-to-find Winter accessories and budget-friendly pieces.

3 / Madewell
To be honest, while I want to love J.Crew, it always feels a tad to preppy for me; and so when I first discovered Madewell, it felt like a perfect match.
Madewell's pieces last me season after season, and it's one of the rare brands from which I have pieces years old that I still wear. They have a knack for classic clean, while still staying on-trend.
I'll always be a fan of Madewell's sweaters, but what I've really been loving this Fall is their denim and corduroy styles. The Cali Demi boot is one of my favorite Madewell denim styles, and this season they introduced the style in corduroy into their collection, which I'm LOVING. Just picked up this pair. Also really into the wide leg style. The Emmett has a great fit (size down) and a flattering high waist.
Good news for the guys...as of September, Madewell Mens is officially launched! Quickly glanced at the collection and I'm loving the laid-back, effortless clean-cut vibe.
