I'm finally at that point where my brain has switched off all-things summer. I'm ready for crisp, Fall air, cozy weekends and a bit of a wardrobe refresh.

Whenever a new season rolls around, I make it a point to mix some of my favorite pieces from seasons past with some new finds. Admittedly, I can't go through a seasonal transition without a few new pieces to love...but really, who can?

Over the years, I've learned that a seasonal staple is worth a splurge. So rather than buy a $20 sweater that will only last this Fall, I'll choose something higher quality with a slightly steeper price tag that I know I won't have to retire for quite a few years.

Today I'm sharing transitional style that mixes some of my favorite old with my favorite new, along with some of the staples you'll find in my closet this Fall.

Suede

Suede is hands down my favorite Fall fabric. Whether it's a great pair of pumps or a fun accessory like this lieutenant hat, I can't get enough. I'm v into the military style this season and when I found this style hat in suede, I had to have it. I also can't wait to break out my suede military jacket and some suede minis.

Sweaters

I still love a statement sweater just as much as I did last season. This year, I'm on the lookout for a few new statement sleeves along with some fall-toned chunky knits.

Denim

I have been, and will always be, a firm believer that a great pair of jeans is one hundred percent worth the investment. If my closet is any indication, denim will never go out of style and I can't help but get giddy about all of the fresh, new denim styles launching this Fall!
