The 6 Most Instagrammable Places to Take Pictures in SoHo
When I first started to really take my content seriously, I knew I needed to find a central location or a 'home base' of sorts for my photoshoots. To be honest, I didn't have the time nor the patience to be in a million different places from week to week, and my goal was to find a location that had a familiar feel, but was still different at the same time. I wanted colors, textures, stand-out architecture for my backgrounds, while maintaining a city feel. Enter SoHo, my 'home base'.
I get a lot of questions about where exactly I shoot in SoHo, and while it's a small area, it's big enough to not know where to start.
In today's post, I'm letting you in on the 6 most Instagrammable places to take pictures in SoHo, NYC. The best part? They're all within blocks of one another, making it quick and easy to visit multiple spots in one trip.

1. Isabel Marant (corner of Broome + Greene)
The stunning architecture that this corner building has to offer makes this my favorite spot in all of SoHo. It's neutral tone makes it a great spot for any colorful look, and it's also the perfect location for that quintessential street style feel.
Tip: Shoot on the corner across the street from the building to capture the full picture (right photo).

2. Corner of Spring + Mercer (blue building)
This is another corner spot that has lots of depth and texture to it, which photographs beautifully. The greyish-blue dark tone pairs beautifully with neutral looks.
Tip: Shooting across the street will give you the full picture of the building, but there's also so many great architectural details for close up shots on the sides of the building.

3. Tibi near Wooster + Prince
This multicolored spot with soft pinks and bold blues makes for a great background. Plus, the cobblestone streets bring in SoHo's classic style. I like to shoot pinks and whites here.

4. Rails (corner of Broome + Greene)
Another great neutral spot adjacent from the first location (Isabel Marant). I always love a location that allows for varied shots, and the steps are the perfect way to make the most out of both sitting and standing poses.

5. Hudson Furniture near Wooster + Spring
Like Rails, Hudson furniture is another multi-level spot with the prettiest color combination. An added bonus for this location is that it's in an area that's typically pretty quiet with little foot traffic. It also sits right on the cobblestone streets!

6.YSL near Spring + Greene
The stark white, high columns and detailed texture of YSL make for the perfect SoHo location. Plus, if you continue walking down Greene, you'll fine a handful of other cute + colorful spots.
