The Travel Edit: 5 Simple Travel Day Outfit Ideas

Travel season is coming up and I can't wait to book my next plane ticket. Are you a tropical beach lover, or do you prefer the city? I, for one, love both - a time and place for each (imo). I recently shared the travel gadgets I can't go without so I thought it would be fun to continue the travel saga. I don't know about you, but figuring out what to wear on travel day always seems to be the toughest part. I want to be comfortable (of course) but I also don't want to look like I just rolled out of bed. There's definitely an art to pulling off sweatpants - am I right? So, I wanted to share five simple travel day outfit ideas that are both comfy and chic. Whether you're into the trends, prefer to stick with the classics, or love adding a little edgy vibe to your look, there's something here for everyone.

For the trendy girl

If you're into trying all the new trends, then the bodysuit is for you! It's comfy and perfect for travel day - style it with an oversized denim jacket and some sneakers for the ultimate cool girl look.

For the edgy babe

I love a monochromatic look, especially an all black one! There's no better way to make sweatpants look chic than with a matching set. Accessorize with a ballcap and some gold hoop earrings to edgy it up a bit.

For the neutral lover

For the neutral ladies out there, you can't go wrong with a matching set and some New Balance sneakers! Clip your hair back to polish off the look and you're good to go.

For when you want to look chic

When in doubt, throw a long coat like this Mango one on over the top. Not only will it keep you warm, but it dresses up your look while saving space in your suitcase. You can get the same affect with a long trench coat or puffer.

For the cool & casual chick

If you don't mind wearing jeans on the plane, then you could easily style them with a graphic hoodie and some sunnies - this Amazon pair looks identical to the Prada ones I've been eyeing but for a fraction of the cost.
