6 More SoHo Photoshoot Locations
Last Winter, I shared the first installment of The 6 Most Instagrammable Places to Take Pictures in SoHo with you and have loved hearing that so many of you who have visited NYC have scouted them out for your own content shoots!
As I mentioned in my initial post, SoHo has become a 'home base' for all of my blog content. It's just one of those New York City areas where there's so much in such a small span, making it ideal for my schedule. Because I work full time, I only shoot 1-2 times per month, which means that my shoot days are usually marathons, styling 8-12 outfits in one day!
In today's post, I'm sharing 6 new SoHo Photoshoot locations with you that my photographer Angelene and I visit regularly each month!
1. IRO (Corner of Mercer + Broome)
I had been shooting directly across the street from IRO for over a year before realizing what I had been missing here! By now you know that I love a good corner spot, and what's unique about this one is the beautifully painted fire escape that adds a soft pop of color to an otherwise neutral location.
You can shoot up close here or in the crosswalk, and if you pop across the street and wait patiently, you could get the perfect NYC taxicab shot.

2. Le York SoHo (corner of Crosby + Broome)
Le York is the cutest little spot that also sits right on a crosswalk, perfect for the quintessential NYC street style shot. The building is a warm neutral with a yellow undertone, making this spot a great one for shooting brighter and bolder colors.
If you pop across the street to the actual building, you can also get some closer up shots like you see here.

3. Corner of Broome + Broadway (blue building)
This is my second favorite photoshoot location in SoHo (No.1 favorite featured here), and one of those buildings you just can't help but stare at in awe. Make sure to shoot on the opposite corner across the street for the full view!
Tip: Shoot from a low angle for an exaggerated view (left photo).

4. Adidas near Spring + Greene
This SoHo photoshoot location is a dream for anyone who appreciates pastel tones with so much unique depth and texture. The columns, steps and grating give you so much to look at (I typically steer clear of plain walls with no texture). This locations pairs perfectly with ivories, taupes and browns thanks to its second color (a soft, muted mauve-y brown).

5. Hanson Fitness near Wooster + Grand
These colorful, textured steps are perfect for sitting or standing shots. I like to shoot at the angle pictured below so you can see the detail of the steps. You can also try shooting closer up, straight on.

6. Lacosté (corner of Wooster + Prince)
If you're looking for something a little softer with warm colors, this SoHo photoshoot location is a great quiet corner. You can shoot in the crosswalk right in front of the building (this area will get busy), or shoot right on the side for something simpler.

So, you now have 12 different locations you can hit during your next trip to SoHo! No shortage of Instagrammable spots here. Which is your favorite?!
