How I'm Refreshing My Home for Spring

Spring is in the air - or at least I'm dreaming of warmer weather and new cherry blossoms blooms. One thing I love to do this time of year is refresh my home by making small swaps for an airy, fresh feel. Now, I'm not a big fan of cheesy spring decor - I prefer to focus on neutral, earthy tones that go with the rest of my decor.

Organic Modern is the home decor style that speaks to me most, and I especially can't resist an earthware vase. I love the way they look by themselves, with fresh flowers, or with faux branches for that minimal vibe.

So, I'm sharing how I'm refreshing my home for spring, some tips, as well as a few of my current favorite home decor finds in today's post!

3 easy tips for refreshing your home for spring

01. Add fresh or faux florals

Spring is all about fresh new blooms, so I like to incorporate both fresh and faux flowers in my home this time of year. Trader Joe's has the best selection and prices for flowers - just pick some up on your next grocery run! Or, I love these faux white flower branches - they don't look fake and pair perfectly with an earthware vase.

02. Mix in some lighter textures

In the spring and summer you can't go wrong with linen fabrics. From pillowcases to blankets, sheets and duvets, linen is soft, breathable, and gives your space a fresh and airy feel. These pillowcases come in a 3-pack for $30 and are gorgeous!

03. Go with natural to tones

When adding new decor to my space, I like to go with natural tones. I also love mixing rustic pieces with more modern ones. I think it brings a sense of calmness to a space. As I mentioned, I love earthware vases! Antique ones can be quite expensive, but you don't have to break the bank. I found some reasonably priced ones down below that look just as chic.
