Let's talk closet staples! While I love experimenting with trends that come and go from season to season, my closet staples are the pieces of my wardrobe that are the true building blocks for the perfect outfit. The best part? Just because it's a staple, doesn't mean it has to break the bank. Today I'm rounding up my complete guide of closet staples for every girl's wardrobe.

Blazers - Gone are the days of the stuffy, uber-professional looking blazers! Outside of a job interview or a big meeting, they're just not needed. I always keep my eye on a more unstructured fit that I can dress up for work or dress down with a pair of jeans on the weekend.

White Tee - The softer the better. I prefer a crew-neck because it's a cut that will never go out of style. If you prefer a V-neck style, this one is a great option.

Denim - I could go on for days about jeans [See: The Best Jeans for Spring 2020] but if I had to narrow it down to two pairs that are reasonably priced and will take you from Spring into Summer, it's these Levi's & these white ankle jeans! Both pairs run TTS.

Jackets - Cropped motos are a staple that can be dressed up or down. All time favorite brand when it comes to moto jackets is BLANK NYC - reasonable price point for a great quality. A trench coat is another option that can be a great workwear staple this time of year. And don't forget a classic denim jacket for more casual days.

Shoes - Coming from the girl whose shoes have taken over all closet space, you really only need a few key pairs. A white sneaker (this can be a running shoe, a platform sneaker (sporty but cute when dressing down a midi skirt or dress), or an overall everyday pair; a sandal (I love the strappy trend because it can be dressed up for work or down with denim shorts); and a classic pump (Nine West's Astoria Block Heel is my all-time favorite heel with a 10/10 on the comfort scale).

Accessories - Always think simple and understated when it comes to staple accessories. These $14 chunky hoops are a great everyday pair and don't weigh your ears down; my all-time favorite layering necklace works beautifully on its own or layered with another piece; designated this ridiculously convenient $25 belt bag a staple because it's all I've been wearing every day; my Amazon sunglasses finds are great dupes for Ray Bans!

Dress Pants - Even if you're not in a corporate job, it's still important to have a great pair of dress pants in your closet. Have been loving belted styles this season especially.

Bralettes - These $20 lace underwire braltettes are great for layering with a sheer top. If you're looking for maximum comfort, I recommend this style by Spanx.

Chiffon Blouse - Works with dress pants and works with denim...you can't go wrong! I love my neutrals and find most of my favorite blouses at MANGO.
