How to Host the Perfect Galentine’s Day Get Together
Yeah, yeah, Super Bowl Sunday - I've got other things on my mind like pretty pink flowers, my favorite puckered gummies and some fun rose-colored cocktails. If you haven't celebrated Galentine's Day, I think it's about time that you start.
"Oh it's only the best day of the year. Every February 13th, my lady friends and I leave our husbands and our boyfriends at home, and we just come and kick it, breakfast-style. Ladies celebrating ladies. It's like Lilith Fair, minus the angst. Plus frittatas."
- Leslie Knope, Parks and Rec
Don't know where to begin? I've rounded up some of my favorite tips for hosting the perfect Galentine's Day get together!

1) Drink in Style
A good party revolves around great cocktails and I'm loving these V-Day themed drinks! (PS - scratch the "for two" part, because these are the perfect cocktails to share with your girls!) Also loving this Pink Strawberry Sangria and these Raspberry Pink Champagne Floats. Oh, and these pink heart straws are a must; no excuses.
If you haven't thought about giving your bar cart a makeover, you can find some inspo from Lauren of Murphy's Law.

2) Decorate Like It's Nobody's Business
Cutout construction paper hearts? I think not. Decor totally sets the mood and putting together a fun heart-shaped piñata (you can buy this one if you're lazy) or making these colorful conversation heart balloons will be a total game changer. If you're feeling real artsy, you can even design your own fringe photobooth with some tissue paper and yarn.

4) Do Dessert Right
Making desert is cute, but aren't you going to be busy with your decor? Save the time of spending hours in the kitchen and set up a dessert bar instead! If your girls like to party, try this pink hot chocolate with a few shots of whipped cream vodka. Don't have a boozy bunch? (or have a boozy bunch who really likes to DIY?) Whip up some donuts earlier in the day and set up a donut-decorating station because, well, everyone loves donuts.
5) Create a Killer Playlist
Because what's a Galentine's Day party without a great Galentine's Day playlist?

6) Make It a Movie Night
Don't even bother dreading having to think of what movie to watch, because whoever made this "What Romantic Movie Should You Watch" chart is a sheer genius. While we're on the topic of watching movies...
7) Get Your Cozy On!
Tell your girls to ditch the full face of makeup, spray in some dry shampoo and get cozy! No need to go all-out, unless we're talking pajamas, of course.
This is so cute!! Love all of these fun ideas!!!!
