Holiday Wine List: What to Drink, What to Bring & More
I was strictly a white wine girl until I met Joe and even saying that is a stretch. After Joe's dad retired from his corporate job, he got his Master's in wine and opened a wine shop, so Joe grew up with more knowledge than most 20-something year old guys when it came to wine. After the initial shock of the "I don't like red" wore off, with the help of my father in law, he introduced me to so many new flavors and blends until I found the ones I loved.
Now, 9 out of 10 times I'm ordering a dry French red, and white is on the backburner. It's been so cool to learn from Joe's dad over the 10+ years Joe and I have been together (he's fully retired now but still does weekly wine tastings locally) and the major perk is that we're drinking like kings & queens every time we see my in-laws.
We put together a holiday wine list of reds, whites, bottles worth the splurge and our favorite holiday wine's to gift the host and I hope you'll be able to use this as a resource all throughout holiday season!
