One thing we all want to do, but don't actually have to come the start of Fall is refresh our entire wardrobe. While a new season is a great time to indulge in new pieces, it's also the perfect time to get a little creative.

You know that time when you finally do the closet change out; you move all of your summer pieces into the extra closet or into storage and break out the sweaters? Well you don't have to move all of your pieces just yet.

Fall florals are one of my favorite seasonal styles, and while it's most common to see darker, earthier tones, there are still ways to 'seaonalize' your summer florals to create a Fall look.

Sharing two ways to get creative in today's post.

Minidresses:
Typically the first to go because we need a little more coverage as it gets cooler.

Pair your minidresses with a pair of over the knee boots (see my current favorites here & here) and if it's extra chilly, throw on a pair of tights (over the years, LOFT has been my favorite to shop for tights - I've found them to be the most comfy!).

On top, keep it casual with an oversized denim jacket or dress it up for a night out with suede.

Maxis, Midis + Jumpsuits:
These will last you a little bit longer into the season; i'll typically keep these items in my closet until November!

Pair your maxis, midis + jumpsuits with a neutral pair of booties to compliment the florals. My boots are currently on sale for $50, and have been my favorite understated statement shoe of the season. I tend to gravitate towards chunky block heels this time of year. Sock booties are also a perfect option for midi dresses and shorter jumpsuits (love these & these in rust).

I paired this look with a cropped corduroy jacket for a little added texture, but you can really work with anything cozy here!
