No, I am not a member of the boycott-Valentine's-Day club, and no, it's not because I'm married! I've always loved Valentine's Day; something about the pretty pinks and the theme of it all. Do I think it's commercially overdone? Definitely...but that doesn't stop me from indulging in it!
When my brother and I were younger, my mom used to cut out construction paper hearts and leave a trail of them leading to a little basket filled with chocolates and other small stocking stuffer-esque gifts. Now, Joe and I typically celebrate with a quiet dinner at home and a night out sometime during the month of February.
Yes, I know - we're still a month away, but I wanted to share some inspo today for styling a simple yet fun all pink look.

How to Style an All Pink Look
Funny enough, pink was a color I never wore growing up. In fact, it wasn't until probably around 2015 that I started to sprinkle a few pink pieces throughout my wardrobe.
Fast forward to now, and it's one of the most prevalent colors in my closet. But here's the thing - I don't and will never do hot pinks, bubblegum or fuchsia. Instead, I gravitate more towards softer, more neutral-esque tones like lighter, mauvier pinks and peaches.
Styling an all pink look can easily be overdone, so here's what I recommend:
+ Start with a solid base (like my sweater) / Find a soft, solid tone for your top or your bottom piece.
+ Build with a texture or a pattern (like my dress) / I chose texture for my bottom piece, but you could easily switch it up with something like a pink satin solid midi, and a patterned blouse.
+ Accessorize with whites, ivories or taupes / When I say "all pink" I don't really mean all pink because too much of a good thing, simply put...is too much. I chose a light camel bag to compliment some of the darker tones in the dress print, and white sneaks because I wanted to give off a more casual, comfortable vibe!
