Sephora Sale 2025: What's Worth It & What's Not
The Sephora Spring Savings Event kicks off on Friday, April 4 with code SAVEMORE. Always a great time to take advantage of restocks and wishlist items! Wanted to share a little look into my ride-or-die products in makeup, skincare and haircare, plus what I'm personally buying and trying for this year's sale and a few products I've tried that weren't all that worth the hype. Lots more on the Sephora Sale 2025 below!.
Rouge Status: Take 20% off from 4/4 - 4/14

Top 5 makeup products in my bag:
My Spring makeup routine is all about light, natural coverage with a dewy finish and takes under 10-minutes. It's SO hard to narrow these down, but if I had to pick just 5 makeup products, these are my current ride-or-die's:
1/ I've really liked using the Saie Glowy Super Gel as a lightweight primer (Sunglow is great if you want an added bronze). You can also mix it into your foundation if you want more of an overall glow.
2/ The Armani Luminous Silk Natural Glow Foundation is newest to my bag and I'm shocked at how I went this long without trying it. Weightless on your skin with light to medium coverage that somehow looks completely airbrushed. I'm typically shade 5.1, or 5.25 if I have a little more color.
3/ If you have any semblance of dark circles, Charlotte Tilbury's Magic Vanish Color Corrector will change your life. I apply a light layer before under-eye concealer and the difference is night and day.
4/ Merit's Flush Balm is that girl when it comes to cream blushes. It gives off the most natural-looking color and melts into skin with a foolproof application. My current favorite shade is Cheeky.
5/ Couldn't not mention my No.1 lipstick shade! The Makeup by Mario SuperSatin Lipstick in Bronx Baby has a satin finish that's creamy on the lips and it's soft warm rose color is my perfect nude.
If you refresh one item in your makeup bag that isn't a makeup product from the Sephora sale 2024, let it be one of the Saie makeup brushes. I cannot say enough good things about the overall performance of these brushes and how easy they have made makeup application. I used to strictly be a beauty blender girl for foundation, but don't think I'll go back after using Saie's foundation brush. The cream bronzer brush is also a must-have for me, for any cream bronzers.
All of Sephora collection is 30% off during the sale, so it's the perfect time to take advantage of a brush refresh. Here are all of my favorite brushes I use.
New products I was influenced to try
1/ Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush
Love the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer and looking for a powder product to set my cream blush with. Trying shade Sublime Flush as recommended by @makeupxka
2/ O/S On Til' Dawn Mattifying Setting Spray
This has been getting so much hype as a finisher that will lock in makeup like no other. Grabbing the mini size and plan to use for heavier makeup applications or all-night events.
3/ Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Concealer
Grabbing this to compare to the Armani in case the coverage feels too light. After SO much trial and error, highly recommend finding your shade here first (warm is cool and cool is warm with this line and it can be confusing!).
4/ Saie Dew Bronze Soft Focus Liquid Bronzer
The color Salt looked perfectly cool-toned and have heard great things about this!
5/ Westman Atelier Face Trace Cream Contour Stick
Love the blush formula & have heart great things about the cream contour. Trying shade Biscuit.
6/ Kosas Cloud Set Setting Powder
Heard this wears beautifully with a very subtle, natural luminosity. Trying shade Translucent Candy.
7/ HUDA Faux Filter Brightening Color Corrector
I absolutely love my current color corrector but have always been curious to try a liquid version. Trying shade Pink Pomelo. Have also heard great things about the Kosas corrector and might grab both to compare!
Added a few more recent buys that are newest to my makeup bag here!
Sephora Sale 2025 restocks
+ Just about time to restock my ItCosmetics Makeup Melt Cleansing Balm. I always come back to this and have ended up loving the new + improved formula.
+ I usually grab a few Oribe refills during sales. The brand is pricey, but so worth it. Everything from the Gold Lust line is a 10/10 for me (especially this mask - I use 1x a week).
+ Kérastase is another pricey haircare brand where I've found the products are worth the price-point. Just ran out of my Blonde Absolu heat protecting leave-in treatment.
Products that didn't make the cut
For as much as we try out when it comes to beauty, I wish the not-so-great was talked about more! Here's a list of products I've purchased and returned. Of course, beauty products are subjective, so please take my opinion as just that!
+ Saw the Too Faced Cloud Crush Blush on someone and liked the color but I didn't like the sparkly formula
+ I know the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush is a cult favorite but I'm still partial to Merit. This wasn't bad by any means, I just prefer the Merit formula more.
+ The Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundation caked off by the end of the day. Did not like the formula at all.
+ Urban Decay's Big Bush Volumizing Brow Gel did absolutely nothing. I could see this working on lighter brows but I'll stick to my Anastasia.
+ I love the Summer Friday's Lip Butter Balm formula, but the shade Iced Coffee had the grossest fake brown sugar flavor, and I just couldn't get on board.
+ Always on the lookout for a glowy, hydrating body butter and was hyped about the YPT Hydrate & Glow Body Butter but the fragrance was too bold for me.
+ My sensitive skin didn't like the Iconic London Underglow Primer - clogged my pores.
I tend to forget about tools and focus more on products during Sephora sales but one to keep an eye on is the Dermaflash. I splurged on this and it has been so much gentler on my skin than using a dermaplaning (peach fuzz) razor. I do it about 1x a month and it leaves my skin feeling like I just got a facial while also enhancing makeup and skincare application.
Also love that Lux Unfiltered is now at Sephora! My go-to facial tanning drops are great for sensitive skin and won't clog pores. I mix a few drops in with my Summer Fridays serum about 1x per week.
I'm not a big haircare product junkie, but I do have my tried-and-true favorites I've been using forever. The Ouai Detox Shampoo is such a game-changer for me and gives me a solid 4-5 clean hair days. It does an amazing job of removing product build up and really cleaning my hair. Dae is another favorite haircare brand; the Cactus Fruit 3-in-1 Styling Cream is my go-to for slicked back buns - so lightweight and leaves no oily residue whatsoever. Blondies, don't skip out on the Violet Hour Purple Shampoo either!
I'd be remiss if I didn't give another mention to Oribe. The Gold Lust mask will change your life and the Maximista Hair Thickening Spray makes such a noticeable difference in the thickness of my hair.
Also worth noting that the Shark Flexstyle is discounted during the sale. Have been obsessed with this multi-styling tool since 2020 (full review and Dyson comparison here)
