We're less than a week away from September and I'm starting to feel those end-of-Summer blues. I will say, I am looking forward to Fall, but there's a part of me who wishes Summer would just continue on  year-round. It always goes by so quick, doesn't it?

With fashion week only two weeks away, I've been going psycho over here trying to decide on my looks and build my schedule. The thing is, everything revolving around NYFW is so incredibly last minute (a planners worst nightmare) and so I'm stressing majorly. Of course, I know that it will be hectic, yet it'll all come together in the end...but that doesn't make me any less anxious!

I wanted to share two looks with you today that you've seen on my Instagram, but haven't yet made it to the blog. White was a big theme in my summer wardrobe this year, and while I'll definitely continue to wear it all year round, there's something about white in the summer that just works.

Look 1

As you know, I've been a huge fan of midis this summer (see here, and here). I first saw this dress in-store and fell in love with the length and the button detailing. I touch and feel everything, and when I felt it was linen, I wasn't too sure if I was going to love it because of how easily I knew it was going to wrinkle.

Nonetheless, I bought it anyway and totally fell in love (by the way, it does wrinkle easily, but is v easy to steam out). This dress comes in a few different colors (I'm so tempted to get the salmon color for Fall!) and fits like a glove in the best way possible. I wear a 34D and often have to worry about the bust on dresses that zip, so I was thrilled when I saw this had a ruched back with no zipper, which gives it the perfect, comfortable stretch.

I paired it with one of my favorite pairs of vintage sunnies and Sam Edelman block heels. We shot this look in SoHo, and with all of the cobblestone streets, I knew I needed something that I wouldn't break my ankle in. I wear these heels about 2x a week and can confidently say they are one of the most versatile and comfortable pairs I own.

Look 2

It's such a shame that this jumpsuit doesn't come in ten colors, because I'd buy them all. From the ruched top to the wide leg and ruffle detail, it's literally my dream jumpsuit. I was scouring my favorite online stores for a comfortable summer jumpsuit for a blogger event I had coming up at the time. I wanted something that I could dress up, but also wear casually (aka something I could wear for more than just this one occasion I needed it for) - and this was it.

It's a pull on jumpsuit, which makes it insanely comfortable (can you tell I'm all about comfort?) and it has a ruched empire waist which gives it a really nice silhouette on top, since the legs are so flowy. The pants are ankle length, which was perfect, leaving room for a fun shoe.

I paired this all-white look with a white leather belt (it looks great with or without) and white ankle boots. This will also be a great piece to take into Fall with a denim jacket!
