What You Need to Prep for the Holiday Circuit

If there's one thing I've learned from holiday events, it's to prep, prep, prep.

The holiday circuit is a blast, don't get me wrong, but we all know how exhausting it can be. Which is why I've developed quite the arsenal over the years! You'll rarely find me planning an outfit last minute, and you'll always find my office + home stocked with items I deem necessary for party prep.

Today I'm sharing the items that I like to keep on hand for endless events and lots of late nights. The best part? Once you snag these items, they can be used for parties and parties to come - even once the holiday circuit dies down.

Throw what you need in your clutch and you're good to go!

01 / Vanity Planet Mini LED Mirror

I keep one of these LED mini mirrors at my office so I'm always set for a quick touch-up. The lighting is flawless and even if I have zero time and need to get ready in a taxi, this usually fits in my bag.

02 / Facial Massage Ice Roller

If you don't already have an ice roller, the holidays are the time to start. Seriously, this thing is magical for tightening up a puffy face, relieving hangover headaches and waking you up. I store it in my freezer.

03 / Arrae 'Bloat' Supplements

You probably already know that I can't live without these things, but if you don't, now you do! Whether I've had an indulgent meal, something didn't sit well with me, or I went heavy on the champagne, these bloat pills WORK. With the holiday circuit, we're all bound to be eating and drinking plenty, and these are a lifesaver if you're uncomfortable. The fact that you wake up without bloat is the icing on top.

04 / Portable Charger

This is necessary to have in your clutch year-round and I also travel with it.

05 / Portable Iron & Steamer

Such a handy little guy! Unlike most on the market, this portable gadget is both an iron and/or steamer so it can work for just about anything. By the way, if you're looking for a gift for your guy, Joe likes this as well.

06 / Caffeine Under-Eye Patches

If I've had one too many or didn't get enough sleep, under-eye patches are a must. These work in just 15 minutes and are packed with caffeine to deal with puffiness, hyaluronic acid to moisturize, and niacinamide to brighten the look of dark circles. Keep a couple boxes of these around and you can thank me later! And don't forget the ice roller before or after.

07 / Fashion Tape

Snag these for any low-cut tops so things stay in place. They're under $10 and work with just about any fabric. Pro tip? You can also use on your legs for extra high slits.

08 / Nippies Skin Covers

I've tried all the nipple covers over the years and these work best for me! They're no show and stay on well.

09 / Spanx Shaping Panties Thong

Shapewear is another thing I've tried a lot of over the years and this is by far my favorite pair. I like that these hold everything in and smooth things out, but they aren't too restricting, you know? You can even wear them with pants since they're thin and literally mold to your body.

10 / Foot Petals

Being from NY, I've learned a thing or two about walking a lot...especially in heels. Just spread a little on any areas that you usually blister in and you're good to go! This is also great for breaking in boots, sneakers, or literally any shoe.

11 / Clutch

I have a few bags on rotation for parties, this being one of them. It's $30 and fits the essentials, and I love that you can carry it as a clutch or with a strap. For more bags I'm into for the holidays, head on over to LTK.
