Spring always sparks this itch in me to freshen up my work wardrobe. It's like we've finally clawed our way out of the depths of winter, and I'm all set to ditch the boots for flats and bring out the crisp white button-downs.
I've seen a big shift in office dress codes (my job included), to a more business casual or even smart causal atmosphere all week long. I love having the freedom to mix it up and especially love that I can throw on my Adidas and call it a day.
When I envision a capsule wardrobe, I always think about classic pieces in simple, timeless colors that you can mix and match without a second thought. And while having a collection of office outfits is great, my idea is that these pieces aren't just for the office — but they can also seamlessly transition to post-work drinks or weekend activities.
In today's post, I'm breaking down 20+ Spring work outfits for 2024, complete with some of my favorite pieces you can rewear over beyond just the Spring season.

Where I Shop for Spring Work Staples
When it comes to layering basics like tees, tanks and bodysuits, Abercrombie is always my first stop. I've purchased probably 50+ white tees in my lifetime and the Essential Easy Tee is IT for me. It's the perfect mix of soft meets structured, and doesn't lose it's quality over time. Do yourself a favor and pick this up in every color! I also love Abercrombie for my beloved tailored pants (the Sloane is my OG favorite, but if you're looking for a step up in fabric, try the Harper.)
Skims also does a great job with basics. I love their high-neck bodysuits for layering under a blazer and if you're looking for a fitted layering tee, the Fits Everybody t-shirt is insanely comfy and stretchy.
If you're looking for a classic blazer that feels on-trend but is on the more polished side for a work environment, try H&M's Gathered Sleeve Blazer. It's been a staple in my workwear wardrobe for years!
As for denim, if you want quality at a mid-price point, Abercrombie is my go-to. The 90s Straight fit is great for work to weekend. Flats are very on-trend this season and Madewell's Greta Ballet Flat feels comfy and lived-in right out of the box. If you're on a budget, the $30 Elsa Ballet Flat has fantastic reviews! Also trending are Adidas (full sizing guide and review here). They're a classic, polished sneaker that you really can't go wrong with. If you need something a little more clean though without the strip, try this pair from Veja.
A note about Amazon Fashion -
If you've been here for a while, you know I'm not a big proponent of Amazon fashion. While you can't beat it if you're on a budget, I will always choose quality over quantity and most pieces from Amazon just don't make the cut for me.
