My Spring Capsule Wardrobe for the 2025 Season
Trends are what drive me from season to season; something new to feel excited about - something fresh and fun to experiment with. But as much as I love a new seasonal trend, I've come to realize that trends only really carry my wardrobe so far. It's the wardrobe staples, rather, that I find I reach for most. Whether I need something quick and simple to wear or whether I want to build an outfit with a solid base, there are certain pieces in my closet that consistently make their way into just about every outfit I wear.
In today's post, I'm breaking down my Spring Capsule Wardrobe for 2025, complete with some of my favorite pieces you can rewear over beyond just the Spring season.
What about florals and pops of color?
That's the beauty of spring wardrobe staples! Think of these staples as your pieces that can start or finish any outfit. As long as you have the essentials, adding in something like a colorful heel or a floral is a piece of cake.

Staple Tops
White Tee - I have multiples of the Abercrombie Essential Easy Tee. It's the perfect fit (not too tight or too loose) and only $25 (hoping they restock for Spring but in the meantime this one from COS is a great alternative).
Basic Tanks (or bodysuit) - Although Spring weather isn't necessarily tank weather, they're great to layer under blazers or denim shirts. I love these high-neck styles from Skims (great for work).
White Button-Up - One of those spring staples that's just a non-negotiable. I love this lightweight poplin style from Abercromie. If you're looking for a higher-end staple, this Anine Bing shirt is my favorite.
Blue Button-Up - Spring is the perfect time to bring in some patterns and none other than a classic blue striped button-up. This pairs great with classic denim or white jeans.
Short Sleeve Cardigan - Of course, you can opt for regular sleeve length but the short sleeve style is a great option to have in your Spring rotation. This one from Aerie is so soft!
Lightweight Sweater - Wear it or drape it - I prefer to drape mine in the Spring to add some dimension to my outfits.
Satin Blouse - Love a satin blouse because it's a great workwear staple that you can also bring into date night or your weekend plans. Easy to dress up or down, while still looking put together.

Staple Bottoms
Classic Denim - Jeans are my love language, and you know my love for AGOLDE, in particular, runs deep. If you're not quite ready to splurge on a pair of jeans, try Abercrombie Denim, which is another favorite.
Denim Skirt - A denim skirt isn't a make or break staple and I know it isn't for everyone, but I got tons of use out of mine last season and you'll be seeing it everywhere again in 2025.
Satin Skirt - One of the most versatile pieces that can be great for workwear or worn dressed down with sneakers. I love this maxi from Amazon.
Tailored Pant - Abercrombie's newer tailored pant, the Harper, is my top choice. The premium crepe fabric is gorgeous and high quality, and the most notable difference from the classic Sloane pant is the slightly wider leg fit.

Staple Outerwear
Blazers - I personally love a blazer that's a little on the longer and more oversized side. H&M is always my first stop when I'm looking for a new blazer. This gathered sleeve style is a favorite that I get tons of use out of.
Leather Jacket - If we're talking spring outerwear, this is really the only thing you need! You can find pieces with a mid-level price point from brands like ASOS and Zara. If you're looking for a classic to invest in, I love my DeSavary aviator jacket.
Denim Shirt - If you're wanting a piece of outerwear to throw over a tank that doesn't necessarily fall into the jacket category, a denim shirt is perfect. Hands down my favorite is the Aritzia 80s denim shirt.
Trench Coat - A trench is one of those Spring pieces that will never go out of style IMO! I love this style from Abercrombie (size down). H&M is another favorite place to shop for budget-friendly trench coats.

Staple Shoes
Sneakers - In the Spring especially, white sneakers are what I wear most days. I love the versatility of the Samba, because they feel elevated while still giving you the comfort of a sneaker. Check out this post for a full Adidas Samba sizing guide.
Slingback Heels - This pair from Sam Edelman is a great all-around heel that's sleek but still practical and comfortable.
Strappy Sandals - While I won't reach for these until later in the Spring, it's always great to have a black or nude pair in your rotation!
Ballet Flats - Flats have been going strong as a staple for the last few seasons and I love that we're embracing comfort. If you haven't caved yet, try this $30 pair from Target - you may be surprised at how often you reach for them.

Staple Accessories
Everyday Tote - This woven tote is one of my favorite Amazon finds. It's a great work staple that can also double as an everyday bag if you need something larger.
Shoulder Bag - And no, it doesn't have to be designer! If you are buying designer, YSL is usually my brand of choice because I find that their bags are very practical and versatile. If you're looking for a lower price-point that's still elevated, Freja has so many beautiful styles in the $250-$300 range. As always, you can also find a ton of budget-friendly options on Amazon.
Black Belt - This $20 Amazon belt is what I'm reaching for most days!
Gold Hoops - You'll find me wearing a pair of simple gold hoops almost daily. All of my Amazon jewelry favorites here.
Layering Necklaces - Something as simple as layered necklaces have this incredible ability to elevate any outfit. Electric Picks is my go-to for necklaces (code DANIELLE20 works for 20% off sitewide).
Simple Sunnies - Sunglasses are the one thing I never really invest in because I'm always throwing them around, always misplacing them in a bottom of a bag, etc. Enter, Amazon...my sunglasses gold mine.
Baseball Cap - For casual days or I-need-to-push-hair-wash-day-one-more-day, days.
